There was Italian prisoners working on the Rocky Railway on the site near Gardeners? Most probably guarded by
Home guard.

I have said about this before I would have been 4 year of age Walking past the cabbage inn with my Mum and baby brother in his pram,My coat must have fallen of my dolls pram,when a man came running us,with my Coat he was an Italian prisoner,I was to young to be afraid ,just a kind man who had my coat,
