Will listion to it later when I have more time,Nice to hear the liverpool accent I was at work one of the ladies I looked after her insurance man come,I said my mum has Royal liver and Pearl insurance,he asked me to say Pearl again, must write it down and ask neigbour to say it,to see if it different from the way i say it,Way back in 1968 just back from Hong KOng,found it strange that litherland people did have a liverpool accent,not as strong as people in the city ps should have said this was in Cardiff
When I was working for Wimpey Marine in Scotland, the girls in the pay office wouldn’t give me my pay packet until I had said lots of lots of different words in my Liverpool accent, they had a good laugh every week, the guys in the queue behind me weren’t too pleased
My Dad dint like the Liverpool accent when i could have worked over the bridge,I loved to sew,my Dad said no you will get a liverpool accent,Little did he know all the girls I was friends with when from bootle or the city,I was so surprised after 2 year away,to hear Litherland people did have a watered down liverpool accent,
