Leaning to play steel drums

only a little one,dont want to annoy the nieghbours, had piano lession at a 12 year old doing quite well Till my gran died,I had to practise on the piano,showed gran how to play God save the King,by putting letter on the keys,

I was taught to play the piano by Miss Inkster(not sure of the spelling) Her and her sister lived in Stanley park. Just up from the big houses.. The piano was upstairs in the small bed-room .So did my brother. He went on to sit exams for the piano .I remember him taking them upstairs in Rushworths in Whitechapel Liverpool I was never that good gave it up.Ithink they had a school of some sorts in Litherland Park as my brother went there before he was 5years old Then went to St Philips school.

2 of my cousins went to Miss Inksters,then on to St Marys ,would have been free if you passed the 11 plus,one cousin didnt pass the 11 plus,so his Isparents paid his school fees till he left school,Is 11 too early,my brother didnt pass nerves,but went on to UNI after going to night school,

I had music lession in Alexander mount,house owned by a ladies and there brother,very Talented family,when the lady left the room,I would pick up a magnifying glass and looked at all the painting ,Could have cried when in 1968 walked down pass the house, windows broken painting and books into garden,I wish I had picked some up,What had happened to My Litherland
Ps always cats and kitten to play with,my dad said it smelt of cats,
