An early view of the restructuring of Sefton Road from Wilson's Lane to Sefton Street.
There are stll trees at the location, thankfully not vandalised by the powers that be of the Metropolitan Borough; as were the trees on Hatton Hill Road and other places in Litherland

Lovely cottage do you know the position on Sefton Road as it looks as though they are between two road juntions.

Litherland Park has a tree preservation order. I remember before it came into force, lots of trees got cut down by the residents!

When my son started at the 11 plus school,they were asked to make a list of the tree near the home,I helpt my son,Teacher asked him did we live in a park, so many tree 2 very large oak tree,planted about 1960,Cardiff

I would put rose hips at the botton of the trees on hatton hill when I took my grans fresh bread,cound inmage yellow roses growing up the trunks of the trees,never happened,I have said before,my Grandfather pick a rose and gave it to my Gran,start of there romance,
