Between 2 of the houses there was a window frame at the top of the stairs, must have been one house year before, Bradley and Holsals ,

Bradleys lived at 83 but it was the grandmother name down as tennant,Before the youngest daughter was born about 1938 she looked after the 2 older daughter,their mother went away to sea,

Cracking version of that photo. It seems enhanced compared to others I’ve seen.
Both my grandparents were living in those houses in 1906. Next door neighbours!

The Facebook site for Litherland History shows many photographs that have been enhanced from very poor photos. It take a lot of skill to do this without changing the photo. Have you seen the site it just called Litherland History.
