Just spent an hour reading the posts and enjoyed it. Never find time these days. Don't know how I found time to go to work. Retirement is busier than ever. Like to have a good catch up. Thanks to all who post and especially Ronnie who always finds interesting tales of Litherland. Thanks

Since being on this site I have learnt Litherland didnt start my side of the lift bridge Church road,or Ford started just passed Sonning ave,once asked where I came from said Litherland not far from Ford cemetery,I was told that not Liverpool thats that the country,
