hawthorn tree

there was one in 73 sefton rd so pretty when in flower and a great place to sit in the shade after one of are many different games,make me homesick just remembering

The tree is long gone,when mum was moving the man asked why she was leaving the house,he found it hard to believe the house was to be demolished,he said they had been moving people into houses,that were in bad condition ,and here was a house a good home many people would love, only 2 year before the council had electric in,

Bill Reed, was in my class in St Philips school He was involved in a car crash and died . I think he was only about 18 or 19 when it happened . Also David Crome was is in my class. This was in the 1950’s

You're sounding very homesick lately Norma. When were you last home?

Must be 25 year ago, last time we were home ,family holiday my Mum was taken ill and died in a local hospital,1999 my husband died,never learnt to drive,So here in Cardiff,My brother did offer to pay for a family holiday,but it would be to sad,with half the family gone,
