do you use chewing gum,be carefull when i worked at Littewood mail order, one manhe seemed to be always chewing gun,results a ulcer,doctor told him when chewing gun your stomack get ready to food,so make acid when the food doesnt come the acid eats your stomach lining

Is chewing gum bad for stomach acid?
Chewing gum promotes salivation, which neutralizes acid, soothes the esophagus, and washes acid back down to the stomach. Avoid peppermint flavors, which may trigger heartburn.

I remember the Beechnut machine outside Underwoods up Sefton Road, Every so many turns of the handle, you would get two packs rather than one! The excitement!!!!

I had a scan plus an xray found out I just made too much stomach acid ,
