Must say that my memory of Pyes chippy was at the. Ottom of our street, think I may have said already that I helped him move from there, I was in their yard moving stuff from the lowered down items from the upper room windows, most memorable was his save, made sure I was out of the way in case of falling. Cheers

Love this pic! Can remember standing there many a time! Although, my fave was a bag of scallops from a chippy 'over the bridge'!

Dont know if Mike Smalley would remember,he bought scallopes in a chippy over the bridge,and went into a chippy in Sefton street and asked could he have some salt,think a group had been to the cinama the old colly ,before it changed it name,

one of my friends would start going to a church service in the afternoon at Wilson lane,so he could go on the easter outing,they could take a friend,my brother went onces,cannot remember were they they ended up
