Just north of Scarisbrick hall you can see a title ‘New Hall’. That was a farm owned by the Halsall family in 1818. Their descendants came to live in Sefton Road next door to the Seddons!

I’d love to go back and see what things were like before all the urbanisation.
The map shows a single property in blundellsands. Warren house. It was occupied by an ancestor of the Seddons who came to live in Sefton Road. He was a gamekeeper to th3 Blundells of Little Crosby and the cottage went with the job of looking after the rabbit warren. Warren Road in Blundellsands takes its name from the warren.
