Cyril Hume lol.
He used to keep the donkey at a stable in our street. His daughter was Sandra.
He also let King Billy ride it one year.
He was a real character.
Ronnie might have a picture in his files.

Did he have to walk the donkey threw the house to get to the stables in the yard,or was it just the quickess way,I thought him and his dad had a pony, one time the shaft broke and he had to make a new one, turned his hand to most things, last I saw him he had a Fur stole on the dog lead,Litherland Gala PS he was keeping the animal in the field behind 68 sefton road,

Maybe a different person then Norm.
The person I remember kept his donkey in various places. Where I lived had quite an array of small habitats.
The back door of our street shop led into a wide entry where the local coal merchant kept his wagons.
There was a sort of field, or a very large garden, attached to the coal merchants house. I don't know if either animal was allowed the freedom of this field. Cyril kept his donkey in the backyard of the street shop. On the other side of this wide entry there was a stable where Bob the rag and bone man kept his donkey\horse.
