This advert is from a 1934 booklet sent to me by Peter, 8 months ago re English Martyrs Church.

We had a man came around on a push bike,with a basket on the front,selling bread, cakes, a lovely snow white cover covered the goods,

Reading that advert I can smell the aroma of a chandlers shop. Wonderful.
