Thank you, Barbara.
Only just put my PC on, lecky being going on and off all day.
Absolutely horrendous 100 mph winds hitting the back of my flat with torrential rain, I've never known a storm like this in all the time I've lived here.
The sea is up over the village green and up to the houses, a total shut down today; shops, drs, hotels, schools, ferries, buses and airport.
The photos folk are putting on social medie of the damage and flooding is something else.
The guttering at the back of me is down along with slates - My patio windows are being sucked in and out.
I was sitting looking out and saw my small glass topped garden table flying through the air, miraculously the glass never broke, the hydrangeia bush broke the landing.
My friend's summer house is wrecked, my bike was stried there for the winter and electrical tools.
I can't go up until tomorrow afternoon to sort it out, the weather is to calm down.
I got organised last nite with lamps and camping stove.
Just seen the warning TV Barbara, and also the north of england,as we are tucked just the pigs chin,we should be ok,very windy in the night but seems to have calmed down, I have milk and bread,so not going out today,Sure Ronnie is ready for bad weather,
Very time we had windy weather I would hear one neighbour bin being blow over, got so you waited to hear it go,could sleep then, new neighbour live in the house now, they have more rubbish so the the bin is too heavy to blow over, If I took my shopping trolly out when shopping and it was very windy I ,would put a large house brick in the bag,PS we have lots of trees the 2 large oak tree are ok put smaller one have blow over,
