Excellent news.

It would have been interesting to know how they would build a major road for heavy vehicles over a rubbish tip. But, maybe the planners didn't know what the site was used for years ago!!

Up till 1962 it was lovely green fields,that when I used the path 5 days a week,shocked in 1968 when I walk across with my Mum and Aunty rubbish up to one side of the path,

Barbara last time i walked over the path to crosby,the tip was up to the left side of the path,remember seeing a little mangle,and other rubbish,it was sad,thinking back to the times i used that path going to work,
