I only remember the sign on the gate,didn't know if the club was still there,don't thing any of the boys who lived near went there,

At first glance, I thought this was about The Prisoner!!!!
That said, I noted the current Bishop(?)of Liverpool was exceptional when he spoke about the dreadful happenings in Southport.

Well worth the visit. I went years ago and had bought programme. When I returned there I took the programme with me it looked so dated. Can't remember the years I did go.

Yes, played for Sussex.

I watched the series when first aired, and hadn't a clue what it was all about

I watched the re-run of 'Get Some In' on Talking Pictures (fav channel) National Service RAF boys

Excellent series Ronnie. My sort of humour.
Recently saw a Scouse comedian on stage called John Martin from Bootle. He had written material for likes of Ken Dodd and they were big mates.
Excellent entertainer.
