I have the original Litherland Land Society (parchment) purchase documents and plan of Litherland Park showing 77 lots of 1010 square yards for sale in 1846, John.

Plot 47 sold for £138 (approx. £20,882.36 in 2026). It then went on the market again in 1850 for £80.

About 10 years ago I made an offer on eBay for a large bundle of 19th-century docs pertaining to Litherland Park.

On going through the documents, I was excited to find the Litherland Land Society parchment for the purchase of the land; it lists all the LLS members and the price each paid for shares.

The average sold house price in Litherland Park is £235,000, while current properties for sale on the road range from about £400,000 to £625,000 depending on the size and type.
