Many years ago, on a trip back home we visited Wigan, and of course the Pier. There was a visit to see the steam engine machine which did in days gone by power all the machines in the factory.
Another place visited was a days gone by thing like a live museum this was really a great visit as we had to sit in a class room as kids, my wife was called on to answer a school question, we were very glad to have visited Wigan Pier and environs. A1. Cheers
