My uncle got me an old bike,the gears must have been broken as going up a hill was hard, great when I started work and was able to buy my own bike,my friend bought one with stright handles,it was the only one like that in hoppies i couldnt wait so mine was a Phillips ,sold it to my dad for 10 pounds when i moved away,see now you can buy what we called a Sit up and beg bike,learnt to ride a bike in the top paddock in Parr street,today road are to busy for bike ridding
