If you can manage him ok Norma, keep him. They are such good company. I'd dearly love another dog, a boxer, but it's not practical.
Only had one dog at home when I was young. Sadly, someone left the gate open and he got out. Poor Scamp, he waa run over on Sefton Road. Considering how little traffic there was back then. He was really unlucky. Mum said no more dogs...
We did end up with a cat! Some horrible children threw him over the fence and the poor thing landed in our little pond. Mum dried it off with the hairdryer! We made enquiries and turned out the ladies in the dry cleaners were feeding it. So, we had a cat! We called him Lucky as we reckoned he'd had a lucky dip in our pond.
