Henry Jackson was a canal boatman from Burscough who became a coal dealer.His first business was in Chisenhale Street Vauxhall,then Florida Street Bootle.(Jackson's Yard marked on some maps along side the canal) before moving to Litherland.Local coal dealers Smiths,Langton s and Thomas Cheetham had direct connections with the Jacksons.
