The dining rooms opened in 1903 and were owned and run by Linacre Mission in their support of the Abstinence Movement - It stood on the corner of Hartwell Street.

The block from Hartwell St. to Towcester St. was purchased by the Mission and demolished for the building of The Wesleyan Sunday School.

Older Litherlandites will remember it became Blundell's Bra Factory (especially Obie) .
