I so admire the Commonwealth countries whose men didn't hesitate once they heard England was at war. Under no obligation whatsoever they signed up in their thousands, fought heroically, and lost Dads, Sons husbands and brothers. Even Indians, who were very much at odds with the British Government at that time, proudly gave their sevice.

Imagine where we'd be now if our Greats hadn't fought.

I won't write about the country who didn't enter till the war was practically 3 yrs old and we didn't finish paying them back until 2006.
