I think every town here have a memorial which they honour and attend on the 11th, and hold a service, and maybe a March from their clubs to it, in fact the chorus that I am in also sang on the day, it was alway well attended, yes a lot of very young people died which was a deep wound to their folk left behind, so was it worth it? Will we ever know?
