I thought it might be one of them, though I didn’t recognise which one. She married Jim Irwin in 1924 who served in both the 4th Cheshires and the Imperial Camel Corps of all things. It’s neither of those so it probably means the photo was taken before they met post-war. The brooches are likely to have been out of fashion by then anyway. It must be from one of her own family, the Grahams of 55 Gloucester Road Bootle. I’ll have to look into that one.

It does help to date the photo to the war years so she will be between 18 and 21 in the photos.
