I went to Linacre Mission with a friend, I am a Catholic and we had to swear that we would not drink alcohol. When I came home I told my Mum and she said "do you know you shouldn't even go into that church, and you are only seven so I'll make sure you don't at that age!" Like Ronnie it didn't work for me, I had my first drink on a date with my boyfriend and it was a Cherry Brandy. He bacame my husband even though I still liked the drfink which was expensive in late fifties. G and T is a drink I occasionly like but age and driving restricts it. Staying over with my son it might be two drinks.
