The oldest thing I have is a brown teapot with painted dots on. My grandmother gave it to me and told me it was her Mothers so don't break it. I am always careful when I wash it and I've never used it. Her Mother died in 1888 and Gran died 1975 and it's in perfect condition so don't think she used it either.
