Re: my poor Hydranger
Norma I have a few of them in my garden, the three in the front garden are large and have been beautuful with very little attention they are in the ground all together. The ones in the back are in pots and have suffered a bit from all the dry weather, even one that I transplanted into the ground last year. I watered them almost everynight when it was hot and they have improved. All of them I have grown from cuttings but they don't like to be too dry. To save water I have been taking the washing up water and using that, the fairy liquid doesn't seem to bother them. I don't know what my water bill will be like but I would hate to lose them. One of them is from a cutting I put in when we bought the house in 1971. I'll take a photo of them and put them on tomorrow.
