Tjat's interesting Ronnie, I knew that Registrars went out to peoples houses. In the Liverpool birth registers we noticed a lot of births registered on the same day in the same streets. Wonder if they got fined never thought to check birth dates against registration date. I bet some would give a different date of birth if they avoided a fine.
