That's a great photo, its so different now all those saplings grew into big trees which have now been cut down. The roots of the trees caused problems with the pavement which became a hazard. A couple of the residents asked for the trees to be replaced so there is an odd one. I did't realise that this section of Hatton Hill had been built by A. T. Jones. He built my house in Newlyn Avenue off Stanley Park in 1936. I haved lived in it since 1971 and bought it for £4,850. As you say they are a little bit more expensive now. Mine is only one of two houses which have an adjoining garage but these were built by the first residents and are only big enough for a mini now.
