Irving Street
The lady in the middle holding the young girl is my Aunty Madge & cousin Pat - My grandmother also lived in the street at No.27.
One of the ladies on the photo was a barmaid in Tom Jones's - Another lady was our neighbour in Mitchell Crecent.

Melville Road
Melville Road runs between Harris Drive and Orrell Road and has the distinction of being in both Litherland & Orrell/Bootle
The road was built in 1935 by the Builders, Willowbrook Estate Ltd, whom also named the road.
Mary Madeline Moore who lived at 71 was a Land Girl.
