Looking back on life, Norma, it was a wrench leaving Ford in 1962 to join the RAF. But, having said that
my time in the Forces gave me a good outlook on life and made me aware that I was very capable of accepting things as they came and getting on with it. Having been an Army wife it must have been good for you because of the friendships you developed. Unfortunately, when you were posted those friendships finished and you developed new ones at your new place. Exactly the same for me.
But, the experience was there and plenty of civvies would envy your life.
The modern generation couldn't hack it!!
Happy days and would not have missed it. Plenty of tales to tell from that era and sure you have as well Norma. Good memories
