Hi Norma, I have a copy of a photo of you in your garden for your 1st Holy Communion and I'd like to add it to a presentation I am doing on English Martyrs 90th anniversay. It's going to be on 1st April as the Anniversary of the opening of the church was 31st March 1935. I hope that is OK with you, can you remember the year you made your communion? I've tried to put some photos on the History of the church. We have again had a change in the parish and taken over the parish of St Robert Bellarmine as well. St Elizabeth's has also been taken over by another Indian Catholic church but a different one that Our Lady Queen of peace. So English Martyrs parish now includes both St Roberts and Queen of Peace and part of St Elizabeths. The Parish has now been renamed as Saint Josephine Bakita, she was canonised in 2000 as the first female black catholic saint in the modern era. She was chosen because she had endured slavery and Liverpool's links to Slavery.
