I think most sensible people didnt take notice of that, maybe men living alone wouldn't make one, when My son was in school they had cooking lesion,but I remember him say, after making fairy cake dont thinK if living alone I would be rushing home to make Fairy cakes, He did tell after making short bread, one boy dropped his on the floor,still put it in the oven to cook,
