PW is so futuristic from the outside then you go inside and discover it's beauty. Worship in the round is different, but cosy in a way. The lantern tower is not this creations only beauty feature but it's so flippin gorgeous when the sunlight bounces so many colours onto the altar and all around. Then there's the crypt, which provides a glimpse into what might have been.
Then there's ours (me being a proddy like}. Everything about it screams large, very large, and harks back to our glory days when Liverpool was the the busiest and wealthiest port in the world. Every sailor knew at some point in a voyage he would dock in Liverpool and looked forward to it.
The Anglican Cathedral has so many beautiful features and facts but my favourite is the Lady Chapel with it's picture windows celebraing the lives of women heroes such as Kitty Wilkinson and Agnes Jones.
