This is from an altar boys' outing from Holy Sepulchre to Southport in 1936. It was taken at 'Scenic Studios', Pleasureland, Southport. No doubt they set up these eccentric panoramas to attract groups like these to have their photo taken.
The boy on the back row far left is Jim Halsall of Field Lane, next to him is his brother Bill, third from right on the back row is their brother Joe and on the front row second from left is the fourth brother, Jack.
How quickly life changed from this scene in 1936 to being soldiers in WW2.
