Thanks Ronnie. That makes sense. I suspect that one of the men in my image was my great grandfather William Seddon who lived in Bates Cottages at the time and was next door neighbour to Thomas Eaton.
The image was a piece of a postcard cut from a larger image and kept with family photos by william’s daughter,my grandmother. I cant think of any reason she would have cut that out and kept it other than that it showed a family member.
