Dock Road was quite popular for young ones at one time wasn't it Ron, although The Caradoc wasn't one of them. The Bramley Moore and The Griffin were always packed.
Nor did I see any prejudices against gays, Caseys Bar, Lisbon, Dominion all frequented quite happily by gays and straights. These places always had great music, usually with a live band.
