Another good topic Ronnie, and as an ex seafarer I am always interested in Liverpool, and as Kayt1 says the name promotes interest. We did a return to Aus on a Russian ship many years ago but leaving from Alexander dock, it was a passenger ship the Azerbyzan I was quite excited to sail away on the river, then again only a few years ago I sailed from the new landing stage, Liverpool was a call on an around Britain trip this was a day when the giant models were in town so it was doubly exciting, also with my local Litherland and Bootle family cheering, and waving me off.
