Well, we were so very happy, 'swanning' around on our lovely cruise ship, on a festive cruise to the Canaries, however, all came to an abrupt halt on Christmas morning. My husband fell and broke his hip.
He was in the ship sick bay until we docked at our first port of call, Gran Canaria, 27th December. Now at the hospital in Las Palmas. There have been some issues which have prevented the operation from going ahead but, it is now scheduled for 4th January.
So, not exactly the New Year we planned.
That said, I send our very best wishes to everyone for 2023
