I have said before, and I've seen nothing since to change my view. Since Thatchers shameful'reign'I would vote for the proverbial monkey so long as it had a red rosette on, without thought. Prior to Thatcher I was a thinking voter.
Ok, teachers? They have the task of educating our kids for the future, in which case they should be one of the highest paid professions, imo. That's the only way we will get the quality of teaching that we all wish we had. The unpaid hours many of them put in is not only wrong but disgusting from a society that likes to think we are the best at everything.
Care workers, health assistants, nurses, doctors and surgeons. All deserve a rate of pay that values the invaluable input they impart to our everyday life.
The same applies to all of our emergency service (see, I didn't forget your profession Jean) every single one of them who brought us through the pandemic. Not the business men, the entrepreneurs or any other high flying wannabe who think they put the great in Great Britain. A healthy wage increase all round I say and I'll take my chances with the Labour party to deliver that at some point when they have more than 5 years to do it.
Without the Labour parties 1945 reform programme, this country would have been on it's knees many a time since then.
