This book was produced from about 1900 and listed civic information about Liverpool City Council and its different departments, aldermen, councilors, and JPs, within the city, etc.

It also listed info about the councils in the greater Liverpool area of Merseyside; Bootle, Crosby, Litherland, Waterloo & Seaforth etc; as shown by Litherland's entry.

Litherland Council also produced an official guide; I have a copy from 1966-1967
