No, vaccinations were free - Litherland began vaccinations for diphtheria in 1934.
Dr. Williams was the Medical Officer for Litherland for over 20 years and made many improvements to Litherland's health, starting the maternity clinic, and many recommendations to Litherland Council with regard to health and sanitary conditions.
A good man and champion for Litherland, I hold the greatest respect for him.
