Totally agree Ronnie - no place like it!
A good few years ago, I did a cheapie bus trip 4 nights DBB at the Adelphi!!!! We were the only 'locals' on a bus full of Glaswegians! They all seemed to know each other! Turned out they all loved Liverpool and did the trip together regularly!!!

I'm always sad I can't really go 'home' to Litherland any more but, the time was just the best! Excellent restaurants too! Was in the museum - I never knew he museum aquarium was the second oldest in the world! Did the Christmas Market too - usual tat!!!! Some hardy kids even braved the weather to do the rides!!! The 'snow' slide was so slippy with rain, they had to put mats out! Even got a free covid test!!!!
You say the funniest - the two guys who did the tunnel tour could have been on the stage!!!
I loved every minute!!!!
