You should be able to connect via WIFI via your router.

If the PC is near your router connect directly from the router via the Ethernet port with an ethernet cable (RJ45) - They can be bought at many lengths or made to the size you want - Your PC will have the same type of ethernet port as the router on the back of the PC - A cable may have been included.

There are usually 4 ethernet ports on the back of the router and a far better option in connecting than through WIFI.

My PC is connected directly to my router and I use WIFI for the laptop and iPad.
