Hopefully they can retain a few guys from this team for next year. I'm assuming KJ and Will Riley go pro. Hopefully Big T sticks around for another year with Boswell and Morez Johnson. I'd like to see at least White, Boswell and Johnson return but won't get my hopes up for any particular returns. Previous Message I assume KJ will be gone, either to the NBA or back to the professional European leagues. I hope Tre doesn't want a fourth program in four years and realizes we could have a really good team if enough guys come back and we add one star. I can't see Riley being a player in the NBA next year. Ride the pine or play in the G league when he could likely get a year of development and some nice NIL change. Did Ty stick around a redshirt year only to hit the portal? No idea. you have to accept reality. it was stolen but there is no way to prove it.

seed, since they're returning 2 of their top 3 guys. Rodgers and Big Z are solid rotation guys and this assumes a couple of good transfers. Obviously, they need impacts guys though. I'm seeing the usual "media" sources start to work a narrative that we can't afford any of the big time transfers, which doesn't pass the smell test with me. Previous Message Unless the money has been committed to Riley while he decides what to do. With all the talk about European Dame Sarr, who is on the roster for tonight's Hoop Summit on TV, maybe there's a commitment in place there, too. I hope so, given all the talk about our chances if he doesn't go pro. If we ran out of money because we had Boswell, the twins, two freshmen, Rodgers, Riley, Sarr, Mirkovic and Jake Davis, that would be ok. If we ran out of money without Riley and Sarr, ouch. Perhaps there's a non-trivial chance that KJ returns? That would be costly, too.
