I recall laughing out loud when someone on the inside told me Lovie was a legitimate option.

Never thought Whitman would do it. But Bielema's hire tells me that the athletic dept could be changing for the better. It's been forever since Illinois had a just win and nothing else matters mentality, really not since the 1980s, and with this hire and even the Antigua hire tells me maybe things are changing for the better.

The fact Bielema triggers so many weak leftist losers tells me we made the right hire. These are the same people that would not approve Illinois hiring guys like Briles, Freeze, Leach, Kiffin, Fleck, Bielema and are more comfortable being losers. I thought Whitman may have that same attitude, but I think donors finally stepped up and told him to stop the pc charade, and go hire a winner.

Based on resume, Bielema is the best coach Illinois has ever hired in football, and comparing it to basketball it's the best since Bill Self.
