...he's not cheap, but the meat is fantastic and I like knowing where it came from. Previous Message Week, usually weekly. This year we moved within walking distance of the largest one and we haven’t been one single time. We’ve had plans or been out of town every single weekend. Hopefully this weekend is the first one. I’d much rather pay a farmer directly for his goods and we both make out better.

my gf and i were both sick two weeks ago. it was a cold/flu type of thing. at the nadir it was awful. i gutted it through and still put in a 50 hour week (chin up), but i did feel like hell for a couple days, and generally under the weather for almost two weeks. if i was a narcissist i may have come out of that experience and felt the need to tell everyone about the rough time i had, and how i wanted to make sure that nobody else went through the same misery i did, but i guess thats the difference between the common man and the celebrity mindset. i believe in people's right to dignity and ending their suffering on their own terms. my grandma on my mom's side spent some time in a nursing home prior to death. if you have never been in one, believe me when i say it is a very sad way to live. the smell hits you like a punch to the nose the moment you walk in the door. the residents are mostly bed ridden and no longer in possession of their mental faculties. the food im sure could not be worse. the quality of care is abysmal, as youre completely dependent upon overburdened staff who are in low paying and low credential requiring positions. its not an area im passionate about or have spent many hours contemplating. fortunately i havent been in a situation that required me to yet. but my general thought is that if treatment of some sort is required to keep someone alive (i.e. a breathing machine or feeding tube), they have the right to decide whether or not they wish to continue the treatment. i wouldnt necessarily support someone who isnt in that situation taking an action that would result in their death.... but i also wouldn't judge it either. who are any of us to judge any act that they decide to take (or not take) with respect to their own life? that's just the way i see it. and to your hypothetical- if obama was president, we wouldnt have to worry about covid collapsing the economy.
