Their poor neighborhoods are crime ridden ghettos. 95+% of black people murdered are by another black male, and it's like .001% at the hands of a police officer. Even white people have a higher rate of being killed by cops than blacks. Do average white people care about white criminals being killed by the police? F no. There is no such thing as an innocent bystander in sex, once you rule out rape or similar forced sex. Nobody forced you to have unprotected sex with multiple partners, for example, although of course saying that was naturally tagged as blaming the victim. It is true in every profession. You can say that calmly and be for some police reform without being anti-police. For example, I really dislike the militarization of police, but that does not mean I am against the police or think they are out to get minorities. But the hospital isn’t out to get you. There’s not a systematic problem of hospitals intentionally infecting people with AIDS because hospitals see millions of patients a day. Rarely do they ever mess up. But if they do, you can sue them. It’s the Same with the police force. Rarely do they ever mess up. They interact with citizens every day. Look at all the teacher sex scandals. Should we defund schools because teachers are preying on children? How come the left doesn’t argue that?
