There is roughly 1/7 the the population IIRC. So yesterday, Gov Parsons has operation legend get involved with 50 Federal Investigators coming in to help the police department solve some of these and the mother ####ers protest in front of city hall and the police HQ. Again, about 1/7 the population of the city of Chicago. Kim Gardner the Circuit Attorney was re-elected on Tuesday. Why do people vote for her? She was opposed to bringing in the Federal investigators because she felt they might interfere with peaceful protesters. WTF. 55 homicides in the City in July. She is way down on prosecutors because she either fired them or they quit on her. She will not prosecute crimes brought to her by officers she has on a list where she feels they are racist. i had basically no use for lacy clay, but he could be counted on to come together and get something done for constituents every once in awhile. i dont expect that from cori bush. i suspect she will just see herself as more of a disrupter.... she is aoc but without the talent. I didn't like Clay, but she will be much worse. All she will focus on is far left issues.
