I got a new CA drivers license but for some reason cannot get the federally compliant...

...one unless in person. So, when I renewed my passport I got a passport card as well. I figure I can use that for flying domestically for the next decade. Previous Message But it's not a Real ID which means I'll have to replace it as soon as in-person renewal resumes.

You have to present the Real ID paperwork in person*
